ASSIGNMENT OF CHEERLEADERS TO TEAMS
All Metro-NMYAFL/YAC districts are identical to the established high school districts and as such all teams in each district shall have the same team colors and name as their high school district. If two or more teams are established in a single division and district the BOD will determine the team name and colors.
Every attempt will be made to place cheerleaders on their team of preference. Twenty (20) cheerleaders with two (2) mascots is considered a full team. The placement of your cheer/yell leader on their team of preference is determined on a first come first served basis according your cheer/yell leader's assigned registration number. The earlier you register your cheer/yell leader the better chance he/she stands of being assigned to their preferred team. NO ROSTERS ARE FINAL UNTIL AFTER TEAM CONSOLIDATION DAY IN JULY!!!

IF THIS IS DONE AND YOU CHOOSE TO NOT HAVE YOUR CHEERLEADER/YELL LEADER MOVED THERE WILL BE NO REFUND BECAUSE YAC DID HAVE A SQUAD FOR YOUR CHEER/YELL LEADER TO CHEER ON.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TEAM PREFERENCE, YOUR CHEER/YELL LEADER MAY BE ASSIGNED ACCORDING TO THEIR HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT IN WHICH THEY RESIDE IN AND THE FOLLOWING AGE GUIDELINES.
