Assistant Football Coaches

I filled out my Assistant Coach application, now what?

Once a Head Coach says you're joining his staff as an Assistant Coach you must complete the steps below before you can coach:

Complete our online background check.  See the info and link under "Coaches" on the Home page

Complete the NMYAFL Coach Quiz

Complete  "Tackle 1 Certification" using NMYAFL issued code at USAFootball.com. Contact the office for a code you "MUST" use when registering for a Coach Membership with USA Football.

Once all the above items have been completed come into the office with your driver's license and get your Coach badge.  No person is allowed to coach until they possess a NMYAFL issued badge for the current season.  Office hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM only, cost is $5.00
