Fall Team Transfer Information

Returning Registered Fall Football Players may request to transfer from their existing team and they can pick certain Teams for fall tackle football! But there are a few guidelines. Please see below:
Players are not allowed to transfer to the last year’s Championship Team or Runner Up and if submitted they will be denied immediately.
If you register your player during the coach selectee code returning player window for fall tackle, you will NOT be able to change teams. If you desire to change your players Fall Tackle team you must fill out a hardship in the YAFL Office if you used a coach selectee code.
Fall Team Transfers are allowed for Rookie (9U) - Varsity (14U) ONLY.
Player MUST be a returning player from the previous fall season.
Player MUST be registered for the current fall season first before the Team Transfer Request to a new team can be submitted.
Team Transfer Request forms can be completed in the parent portal. Once submitted the form is timestamped and sent to the NMYAFL Office.
Transfers are handled on a first come first served basis and are not guaranteed
The requested team MUST have space available for your transfer to be completed.
Players MUST be moving from an existing team to another existing team from the prior season.
Players can only move to a team if the roster has reached the minimum of 12 players
Note --- New coaches creating new teams must find 12 new players and have them register directly to the new roster before any currently registered players or players registered in the prior season will be allowed to transfer to the new team’s roster
Team Transfer Forms will be available from February 2nd, the first open registration day through June 30th at 2:00 pm
A Request is NOT a guarantee
Request MUST be approved first before the move will be made. If approved, the record will be updated and parents will receive a email confirmation.
Transfer requests will remain pending if a move can not be made immediately to the requested team. If for any reason we cannot complete your request by June 30th your transfer form will be denied.
